During his spell in England with Arsenal, Birmingham and Sunderland, Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner was on the receiving end of quite a few jokes due to his lack of goals, fairly oafish displays and an attitude that was fairly Zlatan-esque but never backed up.
When it comes to international football though, Bendtner has enjoyed a reasonably prolific time in front of goal for Denmark. This was highlighted once again on Wednesday evening when he netted three well taken goals against the USA in a friendly match at the NRGi Park in Aarhus.
Can Nicklas Bendtner now replicate his international goalscoring form with club side Wolfsburg? He’ll probably think so.
