When Guizhou Renhe were awarded a penalty against Shanghai Shenxin in a Chinese Super League game on Saturday, an argument over who should take the spot-kick erupted with Polish captain Krzystof Maczynski desperate to take the glory ahead of teammate Ricardo Santos who was also keen to take it.
Being the captain, Maczynski inevitably won the argument, but he ended up missing the penalty. All that fuss and he didn’t deliver. Guizhou Renhe ended up beating Shanghai Shenxin 2-1 in the end though, so it wasn’t as bad as it could’ve been for Krzystof Maczynski.
