As a player, Edwin Van der Sar was always considered one of the nicer guys in football. He’s a calm, intelligent man who won many friends during his playing days. Now at Ajax as their marketing director, the Dutch giant showed there’s another side to his relaxed character on the weekend.
During Ajax’s 4-0 win over Dordrecht, Van der Sar was spotted chanting and jumping around with the famous VAK410 ultras. We particularly like the little nudge he gives to one fan as if to say ‘come on mate, sing up’. Great stuff.
