With New York City FC taking part in their first ever Major League Soccer campaign, the PR train is in full motion as they look to spread the word about their existence and try to gain further support using the likes of star signing David Villa to raise a few eyebrows. Well, this latest attempt certainly does that.
The club has decided to put together an official anthem with singer-songwriter Sarah Packiam and MC Sterlin behind it (nope, we haven’t heard of them either). The track is called “ New York City All The Way” and features Spanish legend David Villa on backing vocals. Brace yourself.
