David Ginola says he wants to become the president of FIFA. Yes, you did read that correctly – DAVID GINOLA SAYS HE WANTS TO BECOME THE PRESIDENT OF FIFA. Unfortunately though, and perhaps somewhat predictably, it all looks like it’s just one massive PR stunt funded by a well known bookmaker.
Reports suggest Ginola is being paid £250,000 by the bookmaker in question for an election he might not even contest. Despite the media circus, hopefully it can highlight further how much of a liability current president Sepp Blatter is, if anything. Of course that remains to be seen, though.
