Former Liverpool teammates Jamie Redknapp and John Barnes were at the club together for six years during the 1990s and formed a close friendship. That was on show as the pair teamed up to perform a rendition of The Sugarhill Gang’s classic ‘Rapper’s Delight’ for the new series of panel show A League Of Their Own.
Taking the mickey out of Britain’s Got Talent, the pair appeared on Britain’s Got Sporting Talent showing off some swagger and actually delivering a decent enough version of the track. Barnes is definitely the stronger of the two, but Redknapp does a bit better than you might expect.
