Animals and football seem to go quite well together, especially if history is anything to go by. We’ve had birds, cats and even cows halt games in the past. This time, an Argentinian dog decided to have a little wander onto the pitch and steal the show.
During a Premier League game between Argentina’s Belgrano and Quilmes, the said dog ran onto the pitch clearly wanting a belly rub. After Quilmes midfielder Jonathan Zacaria obliged, the dog was carried off clearly happy with Zacaria’s technique.
