After an impressive goal against AZ Alkmaar a few weeks back, Ajax’s Anwar El Ghazi was being presented with Ajax’s goal of the month award for August at their training ground but during the presentation he was upstaged by an unlikely figure.
Goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen scored a fantastic diving header in the background that stole the limelight somewhat. His ability to float in the air was particularly impressive. Should Ajax be losing with a couple of minutes to go this season, Cillessen has the potential to score an equaliser from a set-piece, that’s for sure!
