When you think of Wimbledon, you tend to think of the Wombles. Haydon the Womble might not necessarily spring to the mind’s of non-Dons, but he definitely does with AFC Wimbledon fans as he’s the official club mascot. He’s quite a character too. First crowd surfing, now this.
As Helena and Perry stood at the altar about to tie the knot, Haydon appeared out of nowhere, suited and booted, and with the wedding rings held aloft to complete the ceremony. He probably helped with the cleaning afterwards, too.
