Real Salt Lake’s Luke Mulholland fancied going head-to-head with the goalpost during his team’s Major League Soccer game against Sporting Kansas City at the weekend. As you might expect, Mulholland ended up losing the battle with the post.
The Real Salt Lake midfielder was so focussed on keeping the ball out of the net that he lost his bearings and clearly didn’t realise how close he was to the woodwork. He actually did pretty well to avoid serious injury, really.
