Udder mayhem: match in Peru invaded by herd of cows

We’ve seen a whole host of different animals halt football matches over the years; from pigeons, to cats, to dogs. It can happen. Well, during a cup match in Peru a completely different sort of animal fancied stealing the limelight and having a little run around – a herd of cows. Yes, a herd of rampaging cows.

Minsa FBC were playing Expreso Inambari in the Peru Tournament in Madre de Dios when the game had to be temporarily halted after several cows staged a pitch invasion. Thankfully, no one was harmed and the game got under way again when the cows eventually left the field of play to soak up the applause on the sidelines.

Best pitch invasion ever, surely?
