It’s been exactly 13 days since Italy lost to Costa Rica and we found out that England was well and truly without a hope in Brazil. Not sure about you guys, but we’ve been slowly recovering from the heart-wrenching disappointment and all-consuming pain this past two weeks. It’s been tough, but we’re just about ready to face football again and might even think about playing the cruel mistress that is the beautiful game.
Which is quite nice that 888sport have launched a competition to win £3000 sponsorship for your local team. Well, if we can’t support England anymore, we may as well support our local footballers, right!?
Their competition is hosted on BetYouCan.com (challenge accepted) and the idea is to film yourself doing the most 20 creative/wicked skilled keepy ups you can do in 14 seconds. You then send it to the nice people at 888sport and they upload it to the BetYouCan.com website for all your mates to vote. The video with the most votes wins, and the prizes are rather excellent. As well as winning £3000 to donate to a local team of your choice, the winner gets the chance to perform their award winning keepy up routine at a professional game next season with a full VIP hospitality package to go with it. The first 500 entries also get a free £5 bet.
