After opening their World Cup Group D campaign with a 2-1 loss against Italy, England’s players will be relaxing and focussing on their next winnable game against Uruguay. Joe Hart, England’s goalkeeper, might need a tad more relaxation than the rest though.
After Andrea Pirlo’s unbelievable swerving free-kick that rattled the crossbar deep into stoppage time on Saturday night, Italian cameras caught Hart absolutely losing his rag when trying to get the ball back. Annoyed by the slowness of the Manaus ball boys, Hart snapped, swearing at them and kicking the advertising board in the process. Obviously emotions were high, so Hart’s frustration is understandable.
At least he didn’t ‘do an Eden Hazard’, eh?
